Oh my Jin

Jin’s concert this afternoon was SO AMAZING. I had tons of fun. It was like one huge dance party. I am DEAD tired now.

I would do it all over again. And the rumors of extending his tour in Sept/Oct have been confirmed. I would seriously consider seeing him all over again. It was worth it. I made a huge rambling post over at my livejournal, but… I will spare from doing that here.

Good night all. Definitely going to sleep in tomorrow.

1/6 of the dream complete. Jin, next time bring the rest of KAT-TUN with you. ;] LA LOVES YOU. COME BACK SOON. ♥

Long overdue life update

School has been out and it’s summer and you’d think I would blog more, but… no. I’m telling myself not to neglect this blog, and yet tumblr has become quite addictive.

There’s so many things I’ve been working on lately and 10 other things I want to be working on too. Jeez.

  • Planning to revamp the portfolio part of my site. So far it’s just a layout and no pages.
  • I haven’t written anything in a while, but I have been drawing–a lot in fact. I am working on a sort of doujinshi. I haven’t been this inspired and motivated to work on something like this in forever and it feels amazing. I usually work on it a bit each night before going to bed. Just inking one page already takes me an hour, but I don’t even notice.
This is a preview draft of the first page:

  • I’ve also been cooking lately. Last thing I made was tonkatsu and now my mom is bugging me to make it again sometime soon. Cooking is relaxing for me, and I do like to have real food on my plate. My mom hates cooking, so she really only cooks on the weekends and it’s often the same thing. My dad is usually too tired from work to cook anything. He’s the cook in the family, but only really does it on special occasions.
  • So yes, besides tumblr eating up my life, I have continued to obsess over Avatar: The Last Airbender and Glee too. Okay, so Glee finale? Predictable, yes, especially what happened with Quinn during regionals and who won, but it was still very enjoyable for me. The Journey medley was awesome; Sue Sylvester, just, wow, what a change of heart; and New Directions… has another year. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next season!

So call me a nerd, but I really am looking forward to next semester. So I’m pretty sure now that my classes will be: Comparative Literature 100, Intro to Classical Japanese Literature 120, Hindu Mythology, and possibly a Buddhism class. With this and studying abroad in the spring, I think my junior year will be really good. I’m hoping to get myself more involved in club(s) this year. You know, just really immerse myself, get the most out of this amazing year, carpe diem and all.

Went out job-hunting today and how did I come back with all these? I mean. I did apply to 5-6 places today, but I couldn’t help but splurge a little!

Oh, and I got my vest from yesstyle today! :D And my other two tops shipped out today. Can’t wait to get them. ♪

Got my grades! A- in Music in American Cultures and Intermediate  Japanese, B+ in American Novel and Shakespeare. Next semester, I’m looking at taking Intro to Classical Japanese Literature, Intro to Comparative Literature, Hindu Mythology, and possibly Japanese Art History. I’m already looking forward to junior year, even if I am also really excited for this summer too!

Gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope I get hired somewhere!
