Looks like fall weather finally decided to kick in. Yes, finally, at the beginning of November. Friday was the fourth, meaning exactly one month left until the JLPT (Japanese Level Placement Exam). I’m taking N2 — the second most difficult level. Dear self, why are you doing this to yourself again?
JET program application is coming along well. I’ve already written a draft of my essay and it looks like my rec letters are in the works. I have a very good feeling about this. Especially after the 説明会 last month, it just feels like something I really can just get. I’ve never felt so sure about something before, and I can’t explain the feeling or why. I still need to research where I want to be placed and do the online forms, now that they’re up! I’ll probably spend the Veteran’s Day holiday weekend doing that and studying for JLPT. (´･ω･`)
Went shopping in SF yesterday with ナナ妹 and いくと. 笑 Poor boy, being dragged along! I bought a jacket at Forever since I really do need warmer things besides cardigans, plus a tank top at Cotton On (It was only $5! It would be a shame to not have bought it!) Also waiting on a shipment from YesStyle. (￣▽￣;) I went on a bit of a splurge on Friday after working on a paper for Thursday that I’m not too proud of. (My first paper for that class I got an A and glowing remarks… I feel like I set my own standard too high, and prof will just be disappointed? -__-; ｗｗ)
